“These events are truly awesome! In fact I'd go so far as to say it's the best networking event in New Zealand. People are genuinely open to networking and are authentic! Really enjoy these and find a ton of value. Thanks guys for all the effort!! Maybe a panel discussion could be valuable as well?”

“Massive shout out to Keri Little, Stuart Little, and the their team for putting on a sensational LinkedInLocal Auckland.

It was great to meet sponsor Tim Muhundan from Automate.CX®. Amazing chat with Justin Kabbani 💪🧠 about how AI could be used in the Disability Access space for Jenna King or the mass amounts of ways it can be used in-house or for customers in my IT space, before his insightful talk on AI it’s potential ways to be implemented wider. “

  • Alice Baker, NZ Superyacht Academy

“I don't think my smile could get any bigger... 😅😁💙 It was awesome to attend the LinkedInLocal Auckland event last week. This was my first (& unbeknown) networking event! What an experience!!!!

I’ve always been good at striking up conversations with people I don’t know. The gentle chit chats were followed by a talk on ChatGPT + Ai. Some really awesome takeaways from that + clairty on a few issues we've been facing. Awesome. But, the reason my smile is so big is I got to see Keri Little & Stuart Little - the organisers of the event and owners of the studio where we ran our first ever superyacht course. “

“Networking can feel intimidating… until you find the right room. Last night I attended my very first LinkedInLocal Auckland event, and I was absolutely blown away. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such warmth and magnetic energy by Stuart Little and Keri Little. They explained how the event worked and even gave me a helpful tip—look out for anyone wearing a red lanyard, as they’re new too. The evening was filled with incredible conversations—meeting inspiring people, hearing about their passions, interests, and life’s work. I left the event feeling like I’d not only learned a lot, but also made some genuine new friends. I can’t wait for the next one!”

“Gratitude post for the hosts of LinkedInLocal Auckland, Keri Little and Stuart Little: if you don't know these wonderful Auckland-based humans already, then you MUST look into them and the wonderful mahi/work they do.

Not only do they create spaces and opportunities for values-aligned people to connect, they also do a lot for the community. For example - Stuart has done some exceptional work with the THRIVE - Connecting Talent with Success FREE platform designed to support people who are in-between work or opportunities. Keri has organised groups of us to learn more and connect at, e.g. the for me is always connecting with friends and making new ones :)”

  • Mark Hill-Rennie, The Loanary

“Such a good night on so many different levels. Thank you, LinkedInLocal Auckland team, you did an excellent job of knitting together a fun evening of connection and learning. Everyone who attended would have left with something new in their pocket...some people's pockets overloaded! More on my reflections on the learning bit later.”

  • Dee Hunter, MeInc

“Great night LinkedInLocal Auckland meeting connections face to face ( not in a 9x5” tracking device !) invigorating presentation on AI by Justin Kabbani. Thank you Angus Jenkins for the invite and Keri Little and Stuart Little for a well organised and supported event - if you haven’t been - don’t miss out next time !”

“How good was LinkedInLocal Auckland last night? I’m still buzzing!

Big shout out to Keri Little Stuart Little Rosie Addison and Mark Hill-Rennie and Automate.CX® Elta Ego (delicious flavours) and Dancing Water Winery Limited and M2 Magazine - man oh man you know how to make a memorable evening. Often I go to networking alone as it’s women’s groups but I do love when it’s mixed, especially when Greg Davies comes along. I reckon this was the best LinkedInLocal Auckland yet. Thanks team.”

  • Sue Kohn-Taylor

What a great night at LinkedInLocal Auckland.

Woohoo - So good to be back in a room with people who actually enjoy connecting, sharing ideas, and having real conversations. A big thank you to Alicia McKay for opening the evening with such a brilliant talk. Insightful, funny, and thought-provoking all at the same time. These events remind me why community matters. When people step out from behind the screen and actually talk, laugh, and share stories, something different happens.
And a big thank you to everyone who helps make these nights happen behind the scenes, especially Keri LittleStuart Littlea nd Nicki Buckingham. Always a pleasure to be part of this community. Already looking forward to the next one.

  • Andrew Moffat, Business Advisor Matchbox Consulting

“Well - that was worth it! Last night was my first venture into the world of hashtag#LinkedinLocalAuckland and it was awesome! Highlights: a very entertaining and informative presentation by Justin Kabbani 💪🧠 (who shattered a few myths about AI); the chance to chat with lots of great people; a very nice Pinot Noir, and some outstanding pizzas from Fantail & Turtle. Thanks especially to Keri Little, Stuart Little and Mark Hill-Rennie. I’ll be back - with a blue lanyard next time if I’m allowed 😉”

  • Keerti Siag

First LinkedInLocal Auckland of the year! The energy as usual was very positive and high but the best part -meeting people in person 😊
Thank you Keri Little & Stuart Little for putting so much effort into these events 👏 already looking forward to the next one. And a big thank you to everyone who connected yesterday.

  • Carmel Murphy

There’s something powerful about being in rooms that stretch you, especially when you realise you belong there. If you’ve been avoiding the room… maybe that’s exactly where your growth (and your best sleep) is waiting.
Have you noticed how connection impacts your energy?

  • John Gilleece

What a fantastic event and opportunity to meet new people. Many thanks to Keri Little, Stuart Little and the team. Alicia McKay’s talk was very thought provoking.

  • Clinton Farley

  • Tony Richards

Making a point at LinkedInLocal Auckland last night.
    So good t
o connect with so many of my connections IRL vs just digitally.
A well patronised event, a great speaker and lots of conversations had and new connections made.
Well done to Keri Little and Stuart and the rest of the team for another excellent event.

It's just like Linkedin...but in real life. 🙍‍♂️

When I asked Ben van Rooy what to expect at my first LinkedInLocal Auckland event, that is how he described it.

And that was almost exactly my experience last night.

One of my deliberate goals this year is to network outside of marketing, and Linkedin Local is a great way to do that. There are some seriously interesting people in the room and it's sort of weird but also great to meet people you've probably chatted to online, in real life.
    Here is what
to expect at one of these events:
    - Ticket price was $65. This includes great alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options, catering (sushi, pizza and we even had tiny bowls of lollies for the presentation)
    - Great venue
    - A top-notch guest speaker.
    - Brand activations
This was an extremely well run event - props to Keri Little and Stuart Little for putting this series together. My only complaint is that I ate one too many pieces of pizza and didn't take enough photos.

Every few months here in Auckland, there’s an opportunity to connect with a wide range of professional people — business owners, solopreneurs, creators, and those leading small to medium-sized businesses — alongside a genuinely good group of people. All of it is set within an environment that feels warm, welcoming, inclusive, and full of positive energy.LinkedInLocal Auckland held another of their great evenings last week, led by Keri Little and Stuart Little.

  • Lyndall Mazalek

    LinkedInLocal Auckland delivered again.
    Rea
l people, real conversations, and the kind of energy that makes you remember why you actually like networking.

Caught up with old friends, made some new ones, and had a bottle of wine (won at the last event) hand-delivered to me in the bathroom. First time for everything.

A big thanks to the LinkedInLocal Auckland crew for pulling off another sterling event👏

If you have been on the fence about coming, this is your sign.

LinkedIn Local was actually one of the events I had been curious about long before I arrived in New Zealand. After hearing so many people talk about it, I wanted to see what "LinkedIn in real life" actually looked like.

Safe to say, it lived up to the hype🔥

The room was packed with familiar faces, new connections, and the kind of energy that reminds you why showing up matters.

In many ways, LinkedIn isn't that different from networking in person.

You never really know who's reading, who's watching, who resonates with your story, or where a conversation might lead.

Huge thanks to Stuart Little and Keri Little for creating such a welcoming community and another fantastic event (And Stuart, thank you for indulging my slightly unusual habit of collecting event lanyards and letting me keep mine for the collection😆).

Was great to be at LinkedIn Local Auckland Wednesday night hearing from Luke Kemeys (FCA), AKA The People’s Accountant 🌟

Such a useful and refreshingly direct conversation about money, business, financial literacy and making the numbers actually make sense.

I really appreciated Luke’s ability to take topics that can feel complicated or inaccessible and make them practical, human and genuinely relevant for people in business - incredible work!

A big thank you to Keri Little and Stuart Little for bringing the event together and continuing to create such a great space for connection, learning and real conversation 💗

  • Lexi Gibbs

Last Wednesday, I headed along to LinkedInLocal Auckland, hosted by the wonderful Keri Little & Stuart Little at the B:HIVE in Takapuna with our amazing team.

Such a good reminder that LinkedIn is actually way more than jobs, recruiters and awkward connection requests… It’s about people, good chats and building genuine relationships.

One of the funniest parts of the night was the ice breaker questions on the back of our name badges, mine was:

“If you had a billboard, what would it say?” 😂
Loved meeting so many awesome people, putting faces to LinkedIn profiles and having proper real conversations for once 👏

  • Devika Erickson

It was a great evening of mixing, mingling, sharing thoughts, and connecting with fellow Aucklanders at the LinkedInLocal Auckland event last night.
    Som
e good insights from Luke Kemeys (FCA) about his professional journey - growing through adapting, evolving and continuous learning. My key takeaways were to stay consistent in your efforts in reaching your goals, continue doing what’s working well and replicate it as much as possible, remain connected with your clients, and be brave enough to ask for the business.

What stood out most for me from the evening was the human connection. In a world increasingly driven by digital interactions, nothing truly replaces meeting people face-to-face. Real conversations, shared experiences, and genuine connections will always go beyond an introduction on a screen.

  • Greta Knight

This week I went to my first LinkedInLocal Auckland event.

The part of his message that sunk in most for me is you've got to 'do the reps'.
It's not a new idea but it is very true, especially in recruitment. So here I am doing a 'rep' on LinkedIn. My Linked In muscles need a bit of toning!

Great to meet some new faces and catch up with some blasts from my recruitment past. I've signed up for the next 2 events. It feels good to get out and about! Anna Brookes- come with me to the next one.

What a night in Auckland earlier this week!⚡️

Another LinkedInLocal Auckland in the books, and once again, real conversation won.

Huge thanks to Keri Little & Stuart Little for continuing to create this space — built on authenticity, respect, and collaboration.

And to Luke Kemeys for the thoughtful session on “Escape Survival Mode in Business”.

It’s all about good people, honest chats, and leaving feeling more connected and energized!

Auckland, if you haven’t made it along yet, this is the room to be in if you want to turn LinkedIn connections into real relationships.

Sign up for the next one — you’ll leave with better ideas and better people in your corner.

  • Zainab Ali

Had a great time at LinkedInLocal Auckland this week connecting with some great people and hearing Luke’s no-BS approach to business and finance - practical, honest, and straight to the point.

Thank you Keri Little and Stuart Little for another evening of great speakers and even better company & food..

  • Julia Trinson-Kelly

On Wednesday I attended my first LinkedInLocal Auckland event and it was really energising.

😊 All the attendees I spoke with were friendly and interesting - many people from the finance sector - maybe because of the keynote being "The People's Accountant"? - but also education, AI coaching, creative trades, etc. The event itself - let me put my events nerd glasses on 👓: beautiful and extremely convenient location at the B:HIVE; lovely, detail-oriented team; great food and drinks; the whole soirée unrolled perfectly, no part of the evening felt too long or too short (and that's not easy to nail down); great atmosphere with the help of hosts Keri Little and Stuart Little. A special thank you to Keri who came to check on me - a red lanyard newby - twice and was so supportive of my relocation project 🫶

I never thought Linkedin could lead to a real, in-person connection here in NZ…In my mind, Linkedin is the U.S thing... but here we are

    LinkedInLocal Auckland
Funny moment at home… I showed my daughter a photo from the event and she asked:

“Is Stuart Little the founder of LinkedIn?”
I said, “No… but we connected.”
    She goes: “How?”
    And I said…
    “We just scaned each other!”

That’s modern networking for you 😄

tips from Stuart Little press and hold Linkedin App-Scan QR code… simple as.

Real conversations. Real people. Real opportunities — all starting from one message.

If you’ve been thinking about reaching out to someone… just do it. Ship it

And for my connections — keep an eye out

    Ma
rk Hill-Rennie-Proof that sometimes… you don’t need a big push — just your post!

Let’s stay consistent, stay connected, and keep building.

    Unlock the power of people!

  • Aksana Rusakova

What an incredible evening! I’m still buzzing from the energy at the LinkedInLocal Auckland Networking Event last night.
The slogan says it all: ✨ UNLOCK THE POWER OF PEOPLE ✨ .

It was more than just a networking event; it felt like a synced heartbeat 💖 . Walking into that room, I was struck by the sheer powerhouse of intelligence, business acumen, and - most importantly - the genuine warmth gathered in one space.

We were many different souls from across the Auckland community, yet for a few hours, WE FELT LIKE ONE.

A massive thank you to the incredible team behind the scenes Stuart Little and Keri Little. The venue that you've picked for running these events is just stunning. Love coming over to B:Hive.

The topics were spot-on, the crowd was buzzy and in tune, but the real magic was the atmosphere - one of pure potential and human connection.

There is something truly special about the "LinkedIn Local Auckland Vibe" when we all come together at such events to support and inspire each other.

Feeling incredibly grateful, full of love for this community, and excited for all the opportunities that spark from nights like these.

  • Dr Missy Wolfman

Another fun night at LinkedInLocal Auckland — and this time it was my second one, so I’m officially not a complete newbie anymore and I actually took photos! 😅What I love about these events is realising just how connected Auckland actually is. Every time I go, I seem to know more people than I expected, while also meeting new ones.

  • Maria Fernandez

Great to attend LinkedInLocal Auckland last evening and hear Luke Kemeys (FCA) share his journey around building visibility, content and personal brand in today’s digital world.

What stood out most for me though was the power of being in a room full of people willing to connect, share experiences and have genuine conversations face to face.

It was also fantastic reconnecting with former Spark colleagues and meeting professionals from across different industries and stages of their careers. In a world driven by online interaction, there is still something incredibly valuable about showing up in person.

A good reminder that networking is not always about immediate outcomes sometimes it is simply about staying connected, visible and open to new perspectives and opportunities. Thank you to Stuart Little and Keri Little for bringing together such a strong community.
